Accessibility Services at the Ordway

The Ordway is committed to providing an unforgettable theater experience for every guest.

We’re proud to offer accessibility options for guests using wheelchairs, guests with low vision or who are hard of hearing, and those who travel with assistance animals.

Large print and braille programs are available upon request. Just ask an usher or member of the ticket office!

Guests Using Wheelchairs

Wheelchair accessible seating is available in all price ranges. When ordering tickets, please indicate if you or other patrons in your party would like access to wheelchair accessible seating.

Guests With Low Vision or Hard of Hearing

The Ordway is equipped with an infrared listening system to help guests who are hard of hearing. Listening devices are available at Patron Services for all performances at no charge. Please see an usher when you arrive.

The Ordway also offers ASL interpreted, open captioned, and audio-described performances for patrons with low vision or who are hard of hearing.

Assistance Animals

Assistance animals are always welcome at the Ordway. Please inform the Ticket Office if you will be attending with an assistance animal so that the best accommodations can be provided for you and your companion. 

Family Accessible Restroom

The family accessible restroom is located on the main floor, to the left of the box office.

ASL-Interpreted, Open-Captioned and Audio-Described Performances

Select performances for each Ordway Musical Theater production offer American Sign Language-interpreted, open-captioned, and audio-descriptions for guests with low vision or who are hard of hearing.

Recommended seating locations for ASL-Interpreted performances (subject to availability):

  • ORCHESTRA RIGHT, ROW G, SEATS 307-310
  • ORCHESTRA RIGHT, ROW H, SEATS 308-311
  • ORCHESTRA RIGHT, ROW J, SEATS 309-312
