Celebrated as the musical heartbeat of Northeast Brazil , forró music blends the sounds of the accordion, mandolin, triangle, and zabumba with driving rhythms and intricate melodies. Accordion virtuoso Rob Curto with his team of musicians from Brazil and the U.S. bring a fresh perspective to forró with improvisation, original compositions, and rhythmic and harmonic innovations. Students will love the energy of this unique musical style!
