Department: Human Resources
Reports to: Human Resources Manager
Status: Part-time, temporary, volunteer
Hours: 20-25 hours per week, with specific days and hours to be arranged.
Assignment: December 2010 - May 2011
This position is responsible for assisting the HR Manager with a variety of departmental needs related to the Ordway’s Human Resources Management Process.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor or graduate degree with a major or related course work in human resources, arts administration, or non-profit business management.
Experience
Prior clerical or administrative support experience in a theatre, non-profit, education or cultural environment a plus.
Skills, Knowledge, Ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows preferred, and computer aptitude required. Must possess ability to work effectively with the public; be detail oriented, flexible, and have a great sense of humor. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to problem solve.
Equipment Operated
Computer, printer, telephone, calculator, copy machine, fax machine, and general office equipment, automobile.
