Position Summary

The Group Marketing Intern assists the Corporate/Group Sales Department with various projects including marketing campaigns, event preparation, and prospect research.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist with administrative tasks related to marketing campaigns targeted at corporate employee clubs, tour/travel groups, social clubs, meeting planners, and educators.

2. Prep for trade shows and events; assist at events.

3. Assist with developing content for website and e-newsletter.

4. Participate in Ordway’s new media/social media committee.

5. Assist with register-to-win initiatives.

6. Conduct prospect research.

7. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Education
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a bachelor or graduate degree with a major or related course work in arts administration, or non-profit business management.

Experience
Prior clerical or administrative support experiences in a theatre, non-profit, education or cultural environment a plus.

Skills, Knowledge, Ability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office for Windows preferred, and computer aptitude required. Must possess ability to work effectively with the public; be detail oriented, flexible, and have a great sense of humor. Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to problem solve.

Equipment Operated
Computer, printer, telephone, calculator, copy machine, fax machine, and general office equipment.
