Reports to: Floor Supervisor

Status: Part-time, non-exempt

Hours: Must be available evenings and weekends, 2-5 hour shifts, sometimes longer; 3 shifts per week; 6 weekend shifts per month. Day availability a plus.

Wage: $7.25 per hour

Position Summary

Responsible for greeting, admitting and directing patrons and is the primary face of the organization while providing for the safety, comfort and convenience of audience members.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain positive image of the Ordwaythrough contacts with clients and patrons and provide positive enforcement of Ordway policies and procedures, while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

2. Give accurate and concise directions to patrons regarding facilities and areas of seating.

3. Check all tickets for accuracy (day, date, time & venue).

4. Possess concise and accurate information about the event taking place.

5. Performs all duties in a safe manner.

6. Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience
Experience in customer service.

Skills, Knowledge, Ability
Strong communication skills required. Ability to work in a potentially high stress environment required. Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time. Ability to carry, lift, bend, and move quickly up and down stairs. Ability to work flexible schedule. Ability to work in low-light spaces.

Clothing
Uniforms and $25 uniform deposit required. Employees provide their own tuxedo shirt and bow tie.
