Based on the uplifting true story of the Von Trapp family, The Sound of Music was the last collaboration between Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, becoming one of the most successful Oscar-winning film musicals of all time.
It touches the hearts of all ages and brims over with some of the most memorable songs ever performed on the musical stage including My Favorite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Edelweiss, Climb Ev'ry Mountain, Sixteen Going On Seventeen, The Lonely Goatherd and of course the glorious title song The Sound of Music.
Winter Weather
The weather outside might be frightful - but Ordway Center's shows remain delightful! As long as the highways are open, we are too and the show is going on!

Extend your Sound of Music experience! Enjoy a Special 317 on Rice Park dinner or brunch buffet. Tickets for the performance and all inclusive dining package are available by calling the box office at 651.224.4222. View Buffet Menu
