Partnership with Ronald McDonald House and Toys for Tots
Beginning November 24, a portion of ticket sales for the four December Sunday evening performances of A Christmas Story, the Musical will be donated to RMHC-UM. Ordway and RHMC-UM have had a standing relationship since 2011, when the Cinderella castle built for the Ordway lobby was auctioned off and donated to the local house, where it has remained to delight children ever since. This season, 10% of ticket sales (up to $5,000) for December 7, 14, 21 and 28 evening performances will be donated to RHMC-UM and the Ordway invites affected families and RMHC staff to be our guests during select performances A Christmas Story, the Musical.
The Ordway is also an official drop-off site for Toys for Tots. The final drop-off date for the program is December 21, but the Ordway will continue to collect donations through the run of the show. Any toys collected after December 21 will be donated to RMHC-UM.
