Experience a world premier concert featuring over 80 voices performed by the
Minnesota Chorale, the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, the Minneapolis Youth
Chorus, Taiko drummers from Mu Performing Arts, and the Gaia Philharmonic
Choir from Japan. Ah Nagasaki, a cantata by Robert Kyr. It was commissioned by the
Nagasaki Peace Museum to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the atomic bombing
of the city, Nagasaki, Japan. The piece will be sung in both Japanese and English.
