Facility Rental Information

Ordway has two theaters, two rehearsal rooms and a lobby overlooking historic Rice Park and downtown Saint Paul. The spaces are available for rental during non-performance,rehearsals and tech weeks. The majority of the available dates are between June 15th through Labor Day. Please see below for all available rental dates.

Services

Stagehand Services
A stage crew is required for all technical needs including rehearsals, performances and any additional technical requirements an event may need. The stagehands and wardrobe personnel at the Ordway are represented by IATSE Local #13 and are guaranteed a minimum call of four hours per person.

Event Staff Services
Cost of labor is based on event requirements. Positions staffed and staffing levels will be determined by the Ordway House and Hospitality Services Department based on facility and event requirements. Event Staff is guaranteed a two-hour minimum call per person.

Hospitality Services
Cost of services is based on event requirements. The Ordway offers a variety of hospitality services including beverage service, full bar service, coffee and dessert service, limited snack selections, limited light catering, and artist dressing room hospitality. The Ordway generally staffs one bartender per every 60-75 guests for meetings and private reception events.

Basic catered platters are available for events that require limited food service. Catering services not available through the Ordway House and Hospitality Department must be provided by a licensed caterer listed on Ordway’s Approved Caterer list, which can be supplied upon request. Hospitality Staff is guaranteed a four hour minimum call per person.

Housekeeping Services + Set-up and Strike Fee: $110

Housekeeping services includes preparing areas in advance, event clean-up and refuse disposal. Additional charges may apply for excessive set-up or cleaning requirements.

Ticket Office and Ticketing Services: $500

All events requiring tickets will be sold through the Ordway Ticket Office.

Additional per-ticket fees include:

Credit card transaction fee 4% per credit card
Facility maintenance fee $3 per ticket sold
Ticket sales commission 4% per ticket sold
Telephone reservation service charge $3.50 per ticket sold
Ticket stock $.02 per ticket sold
