Additionally, the Ordway offers a variety of savory and delicious food options to enjoy when attending a performance. We use local, Minnesota vendors for all of our products. Stop by one of the Ordway’s café stands in the lobbies and enjoy a snack.
Arriving at Ordway
When attending an event at the Ordway, please allow sufficient time for traffic, parking and pre-show events. For your convenience, the Ordway encourages you to stop at the concessions to pre-order your intermission treats before finding your assigned seat, reviewing program notes and any additional pre-show preparations.
The weather outside might be frightful – but the Ordway’s shows remain delightful! As long as the highways are open, we are too, and the show is going on!
Inside the Theater
The lights will dim to signal the beginning of the performance. Talking, coughing, humming, unwrapping cellophane-wrapped candies, rummaging, and any other disruptive behavior are distracting and disrespectful to the performers and the rest of the audience. We ask that you be considerate of those in the audience who may have allergies to perfumed fragrances. Please remain in your seats until the show has ended and the house lights have been turned on.
In the interest of all patrons and performers, latecomers, patrons who leave the auditorium during a performance and late returnees at intermission will be seated according to the wishes of the artists and at the discretion of the management.
Cameras, Recording Equipment, Mobile Phones, Pagers
Please have all mobile phones and pagers turned to the silent mode. Cameras and recording equipment are strictly prohibited in the theater. Please check these items with an usher.
