Ordway Center's Broadway Wedding at The Drowsy Chaperone

Ordway Center has found a happy couple to star in their own wedding after a performance of the Tony Award® winning musical, The Drowsy Chaperone on Saturday afternoon, March 22, 2008.

The Winners are Bridget and Timothy! Congratulations!

The Winning Couple - Bridget and Timothy

As the saying goes, opposites do attract – and in the case of Bridget Hoolihan and Timothy Budig, their interests couldn’t be any more separate. With her love of musicals and his for anything but, the two share a special love for one another that sets the stage for their very close relationship.
Bridget grew up in Lindstrom, Minn., and attended the University of Minnesota where she acquired both her BA in English and master in English education. She is now teaching her second year of 9th through 12th grade English in Chisago Lake. On the other hand, Timothy is from Lino Lakes, Minn., and attended the University of Minnesota Duluth. He is currently employed at the City of Lino Lakes in the utilities department in maintenance.
Bridget and Timothy met while playing intramural football and softball between the years of 2002 and 2003. They began dating in May of 2003 and have been together ever since. After hearing about the opportunity to be married at the Ordway Center, Timothy proposed to Bridget they should get married. Bridget to say the least was shocked that Timothy would suggest getting married around the theatre, but that just shows how much he truly loves and cares for her.
Besides attending theatrical events, Bridget and Timothy love cooking, watching movies, reading a good book, and either skiing or running together.
