Full-Time Positions

Technical Support Specialist
This position responsible for in the in-house service, maintenance, upgrading and administration of all equipment and software that is the direct responsibility of the Systems department. This position works with all departments to support our user base of approximately 60 full time staff in addition to maintaining our backend software and systems.

Vice President of Facilities and Operations
This position is responsible for leading all facility operations groups including: production, engineering, security, housekeeping, and house and hospitality departments of the venue; provide strategic direction for all policies and procedures impacting the venue operation per the direction of the President and CEO and Board of Directors; act as the principal liaison with the Arts Partners for calendar and schedule of the venue; serve as the principal lead on all physical changes to the venue including: remodel, construction and repair projects, and responsible for managing all budgets associated with such projects; oversee facility rentals, and be responsible for developing significant outside rental opportunities when the new concert hall comes on line.

Ticket Services Associate
This position generates revenue for the Ordway using computer ticketing software, including processing and mailing orders for tickets. Position also places customer service/telemarketing calls and assists with marketing/sales promotions.

Part-Time/Temporary Positions

ARTwalk Curator
This position is responsible for curating the ARTwalk 2012 for the Flint Hills International Children’s Festival presented by Ordway.  Planning, mounting and installing over 1500 pieces of art in conjunction with the festival 2012. 

Usher
This position is responsible for greeting, admitting and directing patrons and is the primary face of the organization while providing for the safety, comfort and convenience of audience members.

Part-time Ticket Services Associate
This position generates revenue for the Ordway using computer ticketing software, including processing and mailing orders for tickets. Position also places customer service/telemarketing calls and assists with marketing/sales promotions.

Temporary Staffing Assistant
This position will assist with the administration of the Ordway’s staffing/hiring program which includes working with all hiring managers to ensure hiring policies are executed properly, place job openings in the identified mediums, review applications, conduct reference checks, extend offers to prospective employees and conduct new employee orientations.

Stage Door Security Attendant
This position monitors and supports all activities at the Stage Door entrance and ensures the security and safety of the facility and its occupants.

Internships

Marketing Intern
This position is responsible for assisting the Marketing and Sales departments in the daily operations and activities of Ordway Center for the Performing Arts.
